New family move to Portugal

The single most brilliant thing I've ever done is hire RelocatorPortugal®. Period.
In March 2025 my younger son and his then girlfriend Aurora came to me and said they wanted to have a family, but they didn’t want to raise them in the US where you have to worry about them being shot in school. I don’t know how to argue against that so I said, “Let’s look at the expat list”. Costa Rica is #1, I don’t do bugs. PT is #2, so we decided to go there.
We poked around FB, looked up the Consular, etc., and realized we needed help, and we were so lucky to find Rosario Vital at RelocatorPortugal® and her team.
They got us our NIF numbers, bank accounts, and with their realtor we found our flat. We went to San Francisco on 10-12-2025 for our appointment on 10-14-2025. We handed the gentleman all 3 of our packages of documents we had assembled with Rosarios’ help. There were even issues the day before our appointment we were able to resolve with the local FedEx office and Rosario’s team.
Unfortunately Aurora’s Apostle FBI background check was arriving in Denver the day we flew back to Denver. Cindy’s bank statement at the Portuguese bank would not print, so we sent those the day we got back to Denver.
And then we waited, and waited. Then we were told that Cindy’s package needed amending.
I resent the bank statement and 2 months later that was resolved. In the meantime 5 months had gone by and no word regarding Ross and Aurora’s applications
Finally we both were sent appeal requests. We sent them to Rosario who helped us create the documents necessary to satisfy those requests, and finally after 7 very long months, we are headed to PT on 6-15-2026!
I have no way of proving this, but I’m 99% sure we would not be going had we not had Rosario and her fabulous team at our side throughout this process, and we are so excited we will be moving there within a month!
